A professor in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, A*STAR and an MIT research centre in Singapore. Serial award-winning technopreneur with >50 patents on cell engineering, on A*STAR 30 innovations & inventions over 3 decades; on board of listco and member of SID.​

Dr Sheng Yong Ng

A National Science Scholar with Ph.D. in bioengineering from MIT trained by 2 world-class tissue engineers, he specialises in engineering cell-based fat for meat cut production. He will strengthen our R&D with high quality grants to generate intellectual properties and innovative products.​

Co-founder & Outreach

Ong Shujian

A*STAR scholar with NUS research award. He has published in top scientific journals on cell-based meats. He is the inventor of the company’s key patents, a versatile food and biotech researcher, and a favourite of many local and international media.​

Cellular Agriculture & Facility

Sze Khen Chin

A science graduate from NUS, participated in R&D team prior to the company formation, and worked for a leading MNC in cell manufacturing. He will transfer his expertise in industrial scale cell manufacturing to manage the cell agriculture infrastructure and SOP.​

Dr Qimin Chen

A Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from NUS, she is an excellent cook, familiar with food product development scene. She has led the product development team to have created the series of functional food products that are being launched. ​

Justin Oh

A BSc (Hons) food science and technology NUS graduate, he is passionate about alternative proteins, fermentation, and actively search avenues for food product development. Assisting the product team, he is leading several alternative protein product development projects and ensuring high production quality.

Culinary Education & Product Development

Max Li

A chef turned educator with almost 20 years of experience in the F&B industry, he honed his craft in various establishments such as Privé, Coriander Leaf, Blue Ginger and was previously a culinary trainer. Max now assists the company in R&D and recipe creations.
